Looking looking down the steps from the street I wasn't expecting much, but was happily surprised by an upscale dining experience.
The selections were reasonable enough to get several for a table.
The presentations were nice as seen in the pictures the flavors sublime. My waitress was attentive. There was a fiddle and guitar group playing that was was mellow. -

Go here for the She Crab Stew! Simply fantastic. Jazz'd was recommended by a waiter at a different restaurant, particularly for its Shrimp & Grits. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce nor the texture.
Eric, the bartender, was great! He made sure I didn't leave my drink behind and offered a carry-out cup for me.
I came when they opened, so I missed the live music. Bummer. -

Music was the best part. Service was pretty bad. Food was Pretty good but nothing creative or different. Wasn't impressed by the drinks either.
Update- I very much appreciate getting a response from the owner. I think that says a lot about them and goes a long way to make up for a less than exciting experience. It was the bartender whose service kind of ruined it. He was clearly getting ready to leave and it was nearly impossible to get his attention. We sat at the bar with empty glasses for at least 10 minutes trying to flag him down. When I ordered a drink, he said that he didn't recommend that drink for me and if I didn't like it I'd still have to pay for it. That said, having gotten a response from the owner, I would probably give it another chance. -

I was not so jazzed about jazz'd. I was only jazzed to leave. The service was very good and our server was fabulous which is why I am still giving them a 3 star review. I had high exceptions since I love live music and their menu looked awesome. However, I did not care for the food and the jazz music was okay but not great.
The venue is pretty strange. It was super dark with a few accent lights on each table and on the walls. The bar was like a huge Vegas bar with gaudy details and the room had exposed pipes everywhere which had been painted bright colors to try and blend in with the room. Even though I didn't like the vibe I acknowledge that they were trying to create an artsy ambiance.
We started off our time there with drinks. My friend took one sip of her drink and could not drink it. She said it was so syrupy and sweet that she didn't want to drink it. I urged her to send it back and get another but she didn't want to be a bother. I got the cucumber cooler, which I thought my drink was fine.
As far as the food, none of the things we ordered were actual tapas. The serving size and the items were not tapas-like at all. The she-crab stew was so heavy, almost like a clam chowder. I could not taste the crab at all because it was so overwhelmingly thick and creamy. The crawfish mac and cheese I was sure I would like better, but alas this was another miss. Visually, it looked so appealing like it was going to be my favorite mac and cheese I've ever had. However, the flavors were all off. It tasted like regular mac that someone had dumped a can of Ro*tel with the tomatoes and green chiles then plopped some pieces of crawfish which were bland. It was not impressive. Finally, the baked cheese terra cotta was perhaps the most disappointing. The crostinis served with the cheese did not taste like a freshly baked baguette. The mixture of the goat cheese and brie which was baked did not go together. I enjoyed the roasted garlic but the cloves were so huge it was hard to mix around and eat with the cheese. It was a strange dish. I feel like if it was one dish I didn't like I'd be more forgiving. However, three dishes and none of them were good.
I don't think I'd come back unless the quality of their food improves. Savannah is a foodie city and I felt that jazz'd was lagging behind a bit. -

Great service, great food, nice little spot for evening entertainment.
The music was acoustic and not too loud to enjoy it and the people you are dining with.
Our server had some great recommendations as we told him we didn't eat meat.
we happened in on half priced bottle of wine night , score!
So glad we found this place on our first night in Savannah.
